    This mathces my list.

Maybe order them according to area?

We should get a list going of general suppliers that are either friendly towards homebrewers, or stock items that we use like buckets and such.

I was thinking of doing a "group by" option, but yesterday I was just in a hurry to get something out!

I will group by "internet" and then area, as some of the stores are only brick & mortar, others are more internet inclined, or both.

I will contact the shops to get addresses, etc.

A list of places that sell "home brewer friendly" items might become insanely long, but we can point out bigger/national stores, or at least give the reader an idea of what type of store to look/google for to get the items they need. But I think that might need to be a separate list or lists, maybe covering specific specialties, like stainless, hosing, chemicals, etc.

I will work on this over the next few weeks.

Good initiative, thanks. Worthog had/ have a simmilar maybe older/ dated but they included sources for bulk and equipment sourced outside brewing shops. My personal opinion is to stick to brew shops but you can include rob roy hop farm and maybe a maltster contact details. Although inbev may make rob roy obsolete for homebrewers....

I was hoping that, since this is the most active home brew forum in SA (that I know of), that the users will help me keep the list up to date. Maybe the shop owners will actually participate and help!

I will include as many places as possible, but there are some exceptions that we will have to consider.

This blog is not the right place to discuss this.

I have created a new thread to discuss this: http://www.wortsandall.co.za/showthr...7812#post17812

Berg River Breweries in Paarl is also a LHBS selling some of the Beerguevara stock.
