Due to equipment limitations I sometimes brew a "concentrate" and then dilute in the fermenter. I suppose the water I use to dilute the wort with should have the same water profile as the mash water?

Depends on why you adjust the water profile. If just for the mash, then it's not needed, I guess. If it's style specific, then yes.
