    Ah ok. What about lining the basket with a grain bag? Then, if you do get a stuck sparge (or drainage problems as in the grainfather) you can just stir the mash while draining?

        The teeth on my grainmill is blunt so it turns a lot of the malt into powder.

        Even then with copper pipe manifold haven't had stuck sparge, but haven't used used wheat or rye malt recently.

        Probably got rice hulls from Beerlab.
