  • Alternative Brewing Software

Alternative, as in open source, or free rather. My current OS cannot support my BeerSmith2.0, and upgrading to BS3 is not an option.
I am currently validating QBrew against my logs from previous recipes.
    Primary: Bohemian Lager
Secondary: Bohemian lager/ Ale fusion - Added US-05 to secondary
    Next up: Bohemian Lager
    Then: Bohemian Lager
    And Then: Bohemian Lager
    Conditioning: Chucked Fruit Ale

Upgrade the OS? Beersmith supports Windows/MAC/Ubuntu/Debian.
      Also an option: https://www.brewersfriend.com/
"Well, I suppose if I’m being honest, there were a few times in the past where I admit I did have a drinking problem,

But I can truthfully say that I’ve become more responsible since then,

and today I always make sure that I have enough beer around so that I’ll never have a problem drinking again."

I am suspecting that upgrading to beer Smith 3 is not an option because there exists a cracked version of 2 but not 3[emoji3][emoji3]

I am running the latest Ubuntu LTS, and the last BeerSmith 2.* only supports up to the previous LTS. My licence is only valid for BS2.0. If I want the same functionality on a new install, BS3.0, I will have to pay again. I am not willing to pay for another 'lifetime' licence through the same provider, for the same software, for functionality I am not really interested in using.
