Lets see what it tastes like first.

First running gravity was 1.095, so a good step towards OG of 1.111

          • Belgian Wheat Ale is finishing up with fermentation. Did basic pale ale this morning using only XJA2436 for bittering and aroma. Will use same for dry-hop. Had some very nice berry and grapefruit aroma's when smelling the pellets so hope that will come through into the final beer.

              • Wheat porter. 50L or 60L depending on how the mash absorbs.

Pitching on top of Brown Ale yeast cake (S-04). First time pitching onto yeast cake.

                • I have some W-34/70 yeast in the fermenter, so planning this (calling it a dark lager but not sure how far im off - also dont really care) ... to pitch onto said yeast cake ...

                  Screenshot_26.jpg

Again a 30min boil with No-chill, so the IBU should settle at about ±24IBU

                  Screenshot_27.jpg

Will also once again ferment at 16ºC

I'm currently fermenting a few beers, I have my house Blonde and a APA in one fermentation area and a American Amber Ale, Irish Red and a Belgian Quad in the other.

                      • Cheers Harhm,

You certainly have a few beers in the chamber! I have an american/English rye in its final dry hop stage right now and then planning another German (mandarina) pils for next brew day

WoW, those are plenty ... i don't recall seeing any pics of said "fermentation area"? ... got any pics?

I need to upgrade in the near future as my little fridge can only handle 1 bucket at a time

                            • Good morning guys.
I am doing v2 of Jannie and groenspook's blonde ale. Only this time I am going to boil the Magnum hops for 45 min instead of 30min. That brings my IBU to exactly 25. Cheers

It's based off of this recipe, but I opted for a slightly higher abv ...
