        I did my second today

First time I used the corona mill.. seems like it worked great, hit the numbers so I guess thats ok.

This is a clone from a beer I had in Aus, Little Creatures Pale Ale.

        Hopefully it turns out great!
You have to be happy with that, but what's going on in the glass to the right? leftover milk?

        Nice brewspace you have.

Little creatures is a damn fine drop, if not a bit overpriced in my opinion! I hope it turns out well. Good luck.

Hey.. the wife tried to play around with pouring it "nicely".. so milk indeed.

Regarding the price.. are you referring to the actual one or based on the recipe? I heard they also changed it and the brewery is also more commercialised these days.. maybe it is not as good as it was.. who knows.

The "brew" space serves my other hobby fishing.. but yeah I cleaned it up a bit for brewing, can't have my bait stuff like fishmeal and egg powder mixing with stuff I actually put in my mouth

Yeah I meant to actual one, I think it was something like $70 a slab last time I was there... Yeah it's not my pale of choice, but still a fine ale, I like something a little more hoppy, but has been a while since I've had it.

Hey maybe you'd stumble onto the next biggest thing... fishmeal stout, egg powder NEIPA.... ... yeah maybe not....

Look I last had it about 10 years ago! Maybe my taste has also changed since then. I am still not sure what scale of hoppy I enjoy yet, this will be a bit less than my first brew, which the more I drink the more I enjoy it.

Seems to be slowing down now, not sure if 10 days will be enough, will take a reading tomorrow and check again on Thursday. Want to start crashing on Thursday, for bottling on Saturday.

Most of my fermentations are usually completely done within 10days

I hardly ever do the FG check over 2-3 days ... you come to know when its done. i only take a quick reading as im kegging just to work out the abv

This. Most of my fermentations are done within 5 to 6 days and I only do a FG check on bottling day.

Makes sense, still seem to get some bubbles every minute, minute and a half. I do realise it is not always a sign, but it feels too frequent to ignore?

It's your brew, so if you're not happy let it sit a while longer ....

and take readings .... hydrometer reading is the best way to tell you what's happening or not happening

Also, raise the temp of the fermenter. Easiest way is to wrap it in an electric blanket and set it on the lowest setting. Works like a charm.

I did ramp it up a little bit, sounded better last night, today is day 10, will do an ear test later on [emoji23] I luckily had a chestfreezer and wired up the STC with a heatpad as well.

Sounds done today.. will cold crash tonight. Any advice on the airlock.. it seems to only suck a little bit of air till the pressure is equal, or should I rather just close it up with foil or something?
