I had a DP Golden Ale and a BH IPA (on draft) today at a pub/restaurant whilst on an lunch outing. I quite enjoyed the mouthfeel of that. Nice and soft sliky smooth. The head was filled with tiny bubbles - rather than commercial soda carbonation bubbles - almost like a Guiness.
What need to add to the grainbill to achieve that?
I googled a bit and found several suggestions like adding flaked oats or wheat - then some say other methods of getting the water chemistry right and others talk about higher mashing temps (to get more unfermentable sugars). Thoughts?
.. or is there a recipe out there for one of the DP ale brews? Pale Ale or Golden Ale or the BH IPA ?
Thanks
