On this wonderfully rainy Saturday morning im planning a brew.
Ive been wanting to do stuff with Maris otter for a while and finalgot my hands on some.
Ill update you guys on my Maris lager on another thread. The research says malty biscand nut flavor. And as discussed here before this can easily be hidden by crystal malts.
So single malt is my plan for this brew. One recipe adds 7% carapils. But in a recent exbeeriment its use lead to no perceptible change so im leaving it out.
On hops i recently read that a triple hop combo results in a more rounded flavor and better beer, this was so obvious but ive never thought of it. So im doing that here
Simcoe, Citra and Amarillo. All whirlpool.
So gooi some opinion here and let me know what you think or i should improve
