That looks divine Michelle!
I'm planning a saffron and orange zest saison for end of oct.
Will add zest of 1 ruby grapefruit as well, so maybe its better to call it citrus zest and saffron saison. Just doing 3L as saffron for 19L will require a mortgage extension.

Beetroot Saison, bottle conditioned so I would have a crisp refreshing beer ready for summer.
After clocking 34C in JHB I think the time is right.[/QUOTE]
Nice one Crafty, NBA is still one of my favourites - most enviable
Yeah i must say, i quite liked it.
I was expecting something a lot different, so 1st reaction was that it seemed thin. But that is the idea. It's lowish alc, (4.5%) so it is something to be enjoyed in abundance.
Quite a clean taste for a brown ale. Not too much of those ale esters popping out. I had it at 8 degrees. Perhaps it would have been different at 10 degrees.
Thirst quenching/quaffing beer. Unfortunately, i only had the one. Would have liked another.
Guest of honor tonight.
Only beer i'm willing to part with at present from my collection.
Fun story I have about this brown ale. Wife and I went on a Mediterranean cruise a few months ago. I couldn't afford the craft beer all inclusive. But there was one forgotten bar that had this on tap and it was included in my package. Had way too many of these.
