    Wort chiller or copper pipe to make one


    Hi
    Let me know if you have a wort chiller lying around even if i can salvage the copper pipe to make a new one...or if you have any unused pipe that is useable

    I bought new copper pipe from an air-conditioning supplier K500ish (probably cheaper in SA) for 20m and made my own. Wasn't too difficult at all. Wrapped my pipe around a bucket to get the shape, needed pipe bender for the inlet and outlet so I borrowed one of them. Cut a bit of garden hose off with a hose clamp then simple garden hose attachments at the end. I did use some copper wire to space the pipes out and keep the chiller together.
    Works a charm!
